Martin was MVP of the 2011 Maaco Bowl Las Vegas, rushing for 151 yards and returning the opening kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown. Tampa Bay selected him 31st overall in the 2012 NFL draft. As a rookie he rushed for 1,454 yards and 11 touchdowns and added 472 receiving yards. He earned multiple Pro Bowl selections during six seasons with the Buccaneers and was named one of the franchise's Top 50 players.
