Parsons 'limited' in practice, questionable vs. Lions
""I have a lot drawings packed away for when he is ramped up and ready to go," Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley said. "But for now it's just kind of getting a glimpse of what is going to be and trying to figure out early what he can do best, what he can do right now, and what gives our team the best chance to have success.""
""He's looked limited," Packers coach Matt LaFleur said before Friday's practice, "But he's done a nice job in that regard." "We finished the [steroid] pack, and hopefully that works plus treatment to get me back to 100," Parsons said Thursday."
Micah Parsons completed four limited practices in his first week with the Green Bay Packers and is officially listed as questionable for the regular-season opener against the Detroit Lions. Parsons finished a steroid treatment for a back issue and intends to avoid an injection if possible. Parsons did not practice during the offseason or training camp after finishing last season with the Dallas Cowboys before the trade. Coaches are assessing a limited role and determining what Parsons can do now to give the team the best chance for success. Several other Packers players were also listed as questionable on the injury report. Quarterback Jordan Love (left thumb) and center Elgton Jenkins (hip) were removed from the injury report.
