Payton described the comment as made in the euphoria following the Broncos' 33-32 comeback and said it was strictly about Dart, not directed at Wilson. Russell Wilson posted on X calling the comment "Classless" and accusing Payton of "bounty hunting" through the media, adding "#LetsRide." Jaxson Dart finished 15-of-33 for 283 yards, three touchdowns, one interception and was sacked four times in the game.
