""Worst case if I don't play this week, Thursday I'm definitely playing," Jacobs said. "It's not like something that'll linger over past that. That's really the worst-case scenario.""
""Definitely the worst," Jacobs said of the field. "It's always been the worst.""
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs will be inactive Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings because of a knee contusion sustained in the previous game versus the New York Giants. The team cited the quick turnaround and a scheduled Thursday game in Detroit as factors in the decision to hold Jacobs out. Jacobs said the injury produced significant swelling after he banged his knee and blamed the hard surface at MetLife Stadium for the injury. He indicated that missing time would be limited to one game and expects to play on Thursday. The inactivity report was first reported by NFL Network.
