"Boyd, 29, was reported to be in critical, but stable condition after the shooting on West 38th Street near Seventh Avenue in Midtown Manhattan just after 2:00 a.m. on Sunday (November 16). The Jets confirmed that Boyd was the victim identified in the shooting. "We are aware of the situation involving Kris Boyd and will have no further comment at this time," a representative said in a statement obtained by the New York Post."
"Boyd was reportedly shot in the abdomen outside Sei Less restaurant following a dispute that escalated when the gunmen fired two shots, law enforcement sources confirmed to the New York Post. The suspect fled the scene in a BMW X8 SUV and witnesses were described as being uncooperative with police officers at the scene."
