Alex Ovechkin and Marie-Philip Poulin swapped jerseys during a Montreal Victoire practice at MedStar Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, VA. Pierre-Luc Dubois and Catherine Dubois also exchanged sweaters. Ovechkin and Dubois visited the Victoire bench late in the skate to surprise the players and offer well wishes. Ovechkin spoke in French and asked Poulin about signing the jersey after the exchange. The Victoire are scheduled to play the New York Sirens at Capital One Arena with an expected capacity crowd. Poulin is a three-time Olympic gold medallist, four-time World Champion, and known as Captain Clutch for multiple gold-medal-winning goals.
