"Regenda has spent the majority of the season in the AHL with the Barracuda but was called up for his second Sharks stint on Dec. 30. Over 28 games with the Barracuda this season, he has four goals and eight assists. He won bronze with Slovakia in Beijing at the 2022 Olympics, where he scored a goal and added three assists. Regenda has also represented Slovakia in four consecutive World Championships, totaling nine goals over 29 games."
Pavol Regenda was named to Slovakia's roster for the Milan-Cortina Olympic hockey tournament. He will join San Jose teammates Philipp Kurashev, Alexander Wennberg and Macklin Celebrini. Regenda has played six NHL games this season, scoring a first-career hat trick in a 7-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning and totaling six goals, including one in a win over Columbus. He spent most of the season with the AHL Barracuda, recording four goals and eight assists in 28 games before a Dec. 30 call-up. He won bronze with Slovakia at Beijing 2022 and has nine goals in 29 World Championship games. Regenda was acquired last January from the Anaheim Ducks for Justin Bailey.
