The Chicago native starred for the US at the 2024 Under-18 World Junior Championship, going 5-1 with a 1.89 goals-against average, a .919 save percentage, and two shutouts."
Two Washington Capitals prospects, Cole Hutson and Nick Kempf, were named to a 28-player preliminary Team USA roster and will attend a training camp in Duluth ahead of the 2026 World Junior Championship. Each nation may bring a final 25-player roster to Saint Paul and Minneapolis. Hutson led all players in scoring at last year's tournament and is the top-scoring NCAA defenseman this season with 18 points in 15 games for Boston University; he won the Tim Taylor Award as top NCAA freshman. Kempf is Notre Dame's starting goaltender and posted strong numbers at the 2024 U-18 World Championship.
