The Slovak Ice Hockey Association held a gala at Bratislava Castle to honor the nation's top players. Martin Fehervary, 25, captured the Róbert Švehl Award as best Slovak defenseman for a third straight year, beating Erik Černák and Martin Gernát after posting 25 points (5g, 20a) and a plus-18 in 81 games. Fehervary thanked voters and said recognition is positive. Juraj Slafkovský was named Slovakia's Hockey Player of the Year 2025 and best forward after 51 points (18g, 33a) in 79 games. Other honorees included Samuel Hlavaj, Dalibor Dvorsky, Milan Bartovič, Nela Lopušanová, and Peter Stano, and Zdeno Chara was inducted into the Slovak Hockey Hall of Fame as the 39th member.
