Nicklas Backstrom assists on both of Brynas' goals in 3-2 preseason loss to MoDo, has 4 points in first 2 exhibition games
Briefly

Nicklas Bäckström registered two assists for Brynäs IF in a 3-2 shootout loss to MoDo Hockey at Hägglunds Arena, marking his second straight multi-point preseason game since ending a nearly two-year hiatus and leaving the Washington Capitals. Both assists occurred on the power play: one set up Johan Larsson’s rebound finish and the other helped create Jakob Silfverberg’s goal after a pass to Larsson. Three of Bäckström’s first four points in SHL exhibition play have been on the extra man. Brynäs surrendered two second-period goals and ultimately lost after scoreless overtime and a shootout.
After a rather slow start, I think we are working our way into the match. I think the bus trip was in our legs there.
It is, of course, an important form of play. It's important to take advantage of the situations, and then it's good to have preseason matches to practice and rehearse.
