Ryan Leonard scores power-play goal from Ovi's office, records three points in Team USA's blowout 7-3 victory over Hungary

Ryan Leonard produced a multi-point performance in Team USA’s 7-3 win over Hungary. The Washington Capitals winger scored two goals and assisted on another as the Americans responded after a 4-2 loss to Latvia. Leonard played on a line with Tommy Novak and Max Plante, and the trio combined for nine points. Leonard scored early in the second period after Novak won an offensive-zone faceoff. He added a second goal on a power play with a one-timer from Alex Ovechkin’s office. He also recorded a third point late in the third period by setting up Plante. Leonard finished with three goals at the tournament and four points in six games. Team USA sits fifth in Group A and must beat Austria to qualify for the playoffs.
