He scored his first goal of the season on a second-period breakaway, executing a deft fake-shot and a clean finish past Spokane netminder Carter Esler. Parascak skated on the Cougars' second line with Brock Souch and Kayden Lemire, wore an "A" as an alternate captain, fired six shots on goal and was named the Third Star. The Cougars started 3-0 and remain undefeated. Parascak made his pro debut with the AHL's Hershey Bears last season after posting 82 points (28g, 54a) in 59 WHL games. The 2025-26 season will be his final WHL year and could be important for Team Canada selection for the 2026 World Juniors, with Parascak having participated in the 2025 World Junior Summer Showcase. Other Capitals prospects also scored on Friday, including Lynden Lakovic with three points (2g, 1a) in two games for Moose Jaw.
