The New England Patriots hosted an egg drop challenge featuring players Josh Dobbs, DeMario Douglas, Robert Spillane, Marcus Jones, and Christian Gonzalez to reveal their upcoming season schedule. While three competitors successfully protected their eggs, Gonzalez's effort ended with a cracked egg despite his confidence. Douglas ultimately won, using balloons to secure his egg in a box for a gentle landing. The event mixed fun and lighthearted competition, reinforcing team spirit as the Patriots revealed key game dates for the upcoming season.
"I think it's going to float down. I mean, after all the helium is out," said Douglas.
"It broke, man. But you know that's part of football. It might break, but you're going to break back," said Gonzalez.
Douglas was the winner of the drop, where he put his egg in a box attached by balloons. "What better way to bring out the schedule release without balloons?" Douglas said before the drop.
"I thought it was flawless execution. That looked good to me. ... I'd get in that. If I was an egg, I'd get in that," said Dobbs.
