Report: Randy Moss set to return to ESPN's 'Sunday NFL Countdown' after cancer diagnosis
Briefly

Randy Moss, diagnosed with cancer in December, has made a significant recovery and will return to ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown" this fall. His on-air return during Super Bowl Sunday was an emotional moment for the football community. Moss underwent a Whipple procedure to remove a cancerous mass from his bile duct. After taking time off to focus on his recovery, Moss, now 48, is set to resume his role as an analyst, continuing his decade-long career at ESPN.
Moss, who was diagnosed with cancer last December, took some time off last season to focus on his recovery. He is expected to return to "Sunday NFL Countdown" when the season begins.
Moss announced the diagnosis on Instagram last summer, saying that a cancerous mass had been found in his bile duct.
Moss had a Whipple procedure which involves removing the head of the pancreas, part of the small intestine, the gallbladder and the bile duct to remove the cancer.
Moss is doing well enough in his recovery to participate in the broadcasts every Sunday.
