The incident occurred at the 4th Avenue-9th Street station around 11:40 p.m. Officers asked 40-year-old Mario Valenzuela to step off an F train after he was acting disorderly. Valenzuela is accused of resisting the officers' orders and attacking them, kicking one officer in the knee. Police believe Valenzuela may have been intoxicated at the time. An investigation is ongoing.
