Isaiah Greaves, 19, was identified in a criminal complaint as one of the assailants who shot 16-year-old Nana Donkor in the back while he waited for a bus near Avenue J and E. 16th St. in Midwood on Nov. 30. The bullet lodged in Nana's spine left him uncertain whether he will walk again, though his mother said his condition is improving and he can move his legs. Greaves was arraigned Dec. 18 on attempted murder, assault and weapon possession charges and is held without bail. His lawyer says he has a strong alibi with witnesses and video and is cooperating with prosecutors. A second suspect remains at large. Nana, who attends the Academy of Medical Technology and was shot two days before his first basketball game, vowed to play again and has college interest.
