Multiple vehicles at East Flatbush body shop set on fire
""We try to do right by our customers we're hardworking people, to have something like this happen to a small body shop like ours...what did we do to you?""
""Literally just wrapped the trucks like a week ago, got our license and wake up to this,""
""So, the morning of the holiday we see this happen to us, we're so confused is it targeting, what's next to come for us?""
Two brand-new tow trucks at an East Flatbush lot were set on fire just before 5 a.m., with flames spreading to adjoining vehicles. Surveillance footage captured the moment the tow trucks caught fire. The vehicles had been recently wrapped and the company had just obtained its license. Two of the three men behind the shop are Jewish, and the fire occurred on the morning of Yom Kippur, prompting concerns about possible targeting. The NYPD reports the fire broke out inside the lot, and no arrests have been made at this time.
