The court had 29,193 pending matters as of Nov. 20, making it the fourth busiest venue in the state. Parris, a 2007 University of Virginia School of Law graduate, previously worked at Paul, Weiss, the Bronx Defenders, Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem, and has served on the bench since 2021.
