New York museums bring major art to JFK airport's new terminal

John F. Kennedy International Airport's new Terminal 6 will open with a $4.2 billion investment. It will showcase artworks from the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the American Museum of Natural History, and Lincoln Center. These major installations will be displayed in the international arrivals corridor, aiming to create a cultural experience for travelers. Additionally, there will be 19 permanent installations curated by Public Art Fund and a rotating display of local artworks. The terminal will celebrate 5,000 years of art from diverse global cultures.
