"are committed to shutting down illicit operators and protecting the integrity of the legal cannabis industry."
Parsons Minimart 1 Corp. at 79-24 Parsons Blvd. in Flushing was padlocked on Jan. 8 after an OCM enforcement action uncovered unlicensed cannabis sales. An undercover investigator was offered cannabis pre-rolls, prompting a full inspection. Investigators found a loose electrical outlet revealing a concealed compartment containing about 2,000 illegal cannabis products, including bags of flower, a box of chocolate edibles, concentrates, and other items. The storefront received an Order of Seal and was secured. The Enforcement and Investigations Division completed 2,017 enforcement actions and seized over $20 million in illicit cannabis statewide this year using inspections, undercover operations, and court access orders.
