A free Zoom tutorial on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. will teach community members how to submit testimony during the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) process for the Brooklyn Marine Terminal plan. The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) is closing affordable housing lotteries for multiple subsidized buildings over the next week with varied income eligibility and deadlines between Oct. 14 and Oct. 20. Available units are located in Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Manhattan with income bands from approximately $58,629 to $227,500. A short anonymous survey invites community feedback to improve content delivery.
