Applicants must be at least 18, physically able, authorized to work in the U.S., and provide two 1.5‑inch photos, two original IDs plus copies, and a Social Security card. The Board of Elections generally does not require most voters to show ID; first‑time voters must supply a driver’s license number, non‑driver ID number, or the last four digits of a Social Security number, and those without ID at registration may cast an affidavit ballot.
