Queens' official World Cup Fan Fest will be free to enter for all fans - QNS
""When I think back on my first World Cup, some of my most meaningful memories weren't in the stadium, they were in the fan zones, surrounded by thousands of people brought together by a pure love of the game. That's what we're building here: a World Cup that belongs to New Yorkers.""
""These free fan events across all five boroughs bring the excitement of the game to every New Yorker in every community - supporting our small businesses and bringing New Yorkers together.""
The World Cup Fan Fest at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center will be free for all fans from June 11 to 27. Originally planned to cost $10, the event will now be accessible without charge. Other fan zones across the city will also host free events during the tournament. Mayor Mamdani emphasized the importance of low-cost fan events for inclusivity, while Governor Hochul noted that these events will foster community engagement and support local businesses.
