Rockefeller Center's 2025 75-Foot Christmas Tree Is 'Such a Beauty': All the Details
"It's official: the 2025 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree has been chosen, and the countdown to New York City's most magical holiday moment has begun. This year's tree is a 75-foot-tall Norway spruce from East Greenbush, New York, donated by the Russ family, who've cherished it for more than six decades. "I'm excited to make more cherished memories with my family and childhood friends as it becomes the world's Christmas tree," Judy Russ, who still lives in the historic family home with her 7-year-old son, Liam,"
"The towering spruce is estimated to be about 75 years old, and will be cut on Nov. 6 to make its 130-mile journey to Rockefeller Center two days later, where the official lighting will take place on Dec. 3, hosted by Reba McEntire. Once raised into place on Nov. 8, it will officially kick off the city's holiday season, drawing visitors from around the world to Midtown Manhattan."
