Saints QB competition to continue, Moore says

The New Orleans Saints have not yet named a starting quarterback, with coach Kellen Moore indicating the decision will be made after a week of practice and a preseason game against the Denver Broncos. Both Tyler Shough and Spencer Rattler are in a tight race, with their preseason performances showing similar completion percentages and yards. Moore highlighted the tremendous efforts from both players and joked that a decision would ideally come before the upcoming game on Sept. 7 against the Arizona Cardinals. The Saints have not yet communicated any decision to the quarterbacks or the media.

Saints coach Kellen Moore stated that the competition between Tyler Shough and Spencer Rattler has been very close and they want to continue it through the next week.
Both quarterbacks, Rattler and Shough, displayed impressive preseason stats, completing over 70% of their passes while competing for the starting position.
Moore mentioned that the team has not been told about any decision yet and will inform the quarterbacks and media once a choice is made.
