"After getting beaten twice in Nashville, the Florida Panthers picked up its first win of the preseason with a 4-2 comeback win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday night in Raleigh. Daniil Tarasov was outstanding, finishing with 47 saves on 49 shots, and Brett Chorske, Ben Huard, Mike Benning and Jack Studnicka scored the goals for the Cats. The Florida Panthers completed a 4-2 comeback victory over the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh, earning their first preseason win after two losses in Nashville. Daniil Tarasov recorded 47 saves on 49 shots while Brett Chorske, Ben Huard, Mike Benning and Jack Studnicka provided the goals. The Hurricanes subsequently lost to Tampa Bay and beat Nashville twice since facing Florida. The Panthers are expected to ice some NHL regulars for the first time this preseason in their upcoming home game at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise.
