He underwent surgery for venous thoracic outlet syndrome, which has a 6-8 month recovery period. On the field, they swept the Seattle Mariners and took two of three from the Washington Nationals. Cristopher Sanchez was excellent, with 12 strikeouts in 6.1 innings on Tuesday.
