"Screenshot: @drosennhl/X Sunday night's game between the Washington Capitals and the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden featured a visit from a couple of Bronx Bombers. Four days after the New York Yankees were eliminated by the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS, star sluggers Aaron Judge and Anthony Rizzo were in the building to take in the battle between Metropolitan Division foes."
"The Yankees won just one game against the Blue Jays in the ALDS after they had eliminated their bitter rivals, the Boston Red Sox, in three games during the American League Wild Card series. Judge was red hot in both playoff series, hitting a combined .500 (13 for 26) with two doubles, seven RBIs, one home run, four walks, and just five strikeouts."
Aaron Judge and Anthony Rizzo were seen at Madison Square Garden for the Sunday night game between the Washington Capitals and New York Rangers. They attended four days after the Yankees were eliminated by the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS. Judge completed his seventh MLB All-Star selection and his fourth season with at least 50 home runs. Rizzo announced his retirement after last playing for the Yankees in 2024. Neither wore Rangers colors, and both were greeted with applause on MSG's jumbotron.
