MLB: Yankees Become The First Team To Ever Have Multiple Nine-Home Run Games In A Single Season
Briefly

The New York Yankees defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 13-3 while hitting nine home runs, marking the second nine-homer game for the club this season and the first time any MLB team has achieved multiple nine-plus homer games in a single season. The Yankees opened with back-to-back-to-back homers by Cody Bellinger, Aaron Judge, and Giancarlo Stanton. José Caballero hit a two-run homer in the second, Jazz Chisholm Jr. homered for the Rays, Stanton added a three-run shot, Ben Rice homered, and Bellinger and Caballero each hit another homer. A rain delay preceded the game start.
To do it twice. That's remarkable,
Just a really impressive offensive showing against a team that, obviously, is not always easy to score runs against.
I think we hit nine tonight. It's incredible across the board.
That's why they are the Bronx Bombers... Hanging out with those guys (Judge and Stanton), something has to be contagious.
