Kinetic, a Windstream company, has collaborated with state and local governments in Georgia to launch a $1.9 million high-speed fiber internet project. This initiative in Lake Sinclair and east Baldwin County connects over 700 residents and businesses through more than 266,000 feet of fiber optic cable. Funded partly by the State Fiscal Recovery Fund and local match, this effort aims to close the digital divide and enhance access to essential services like education and telehealth. The successful collaboration highlights the vital role of public-private partnerships in advancing broadband infrastructure across Georgia.
