Traveling in premier class on Eurostar from Paris to London with family proved to be a delightful experience. The luxurious seats, free WiFi, and air-conditioned lounges enhanced the journey immensely. After planning an elaborate trip for his wife's birthday, including use of credit-card points for travel upgrades, the author discovered the convenience of train travel. The bustling train stations resembled airports, providing numerous amenities. The team's overall impression was positive, finding the train notably more comfortable and enjoyable than flying.
While in Paris, we wanted to take the Eurostar train to London. So, I made our ride special by upgrading our seats to premier, Eurostar's version of first class.
The train stations in Paris and London felt like mini airports. Both train stations looked beautiful and felt like miniature airport terminals with their numerous restaurants, cafés, shops, and lounge areas.
Complimentary lounge access was a nice perk of having a premier ticket. We cooled off while snacking and enjoyed the comfort before our train ride.
Overall, we found the short train ride was more comfortable and exciting than a flight.
