David Baldwin recounted a harrowing experience on July 3 when his Jack Russell terrier Percy was badly injured by an untethered female pit bull that jumped a fence. He bravely hoisted Percy into the air to protect him, but the aggressive dog managed to bite him in the process, leading to his own minor injuries.
