Python found at California In-N-Out, 40 miles from home, is reunited with her human family
"How does an escaped python make it the approximately 40 miles from her home in San Bernardino to the newly opened Monrovia In-N-Out location? The Pasadena Humane Society still isn't sure."
"On Monday, Henny, a 3- to 4-foot long, 3.6-pound python, was found by a worker in the In-N-Out drive thru and reported her to animal control. Two days later, Henny's family came forward to claim the snake after a member of the family recognized Henny on the news."
""During her stay with us, Henny had been a little shy," the Pasadena Humane Society wrote on social media. "But the moment she was back in her family's arms, she relaxed completely, posing for photos and proudly showing off those special markings that helped make her reunification possible.""
A 3- to 4-foot, 3.6-pound python named Henny escaped from a San Bernardino home on Aug. 11 and later turned up at a newly opened In-N-Out in Monrovia. A worker found Henny in the drive-thru and reported her to animal control on Monday. Two days after Henny's discovery, a family member who had seen news coverage recognized the snake and came forward to claim her. The Pasadena Humane Society noted that Henny was shy while in care but relaxed completely when reunited with her family, identifiable by distinctive markings.
