Staten Island nurses reunite terrified French bulldog with owners after it was dumped in freezing parking lot
"I missed you!"
"I was devastated. My heart just broke down. I was like, thank God. It was right the next day. I was so emotional."
"I was so happy because you found her,"
"To know that your kid is gone. I come home everyday to her. Just thinking how long it is going to take to find her."
Two Staten Island nurses rescued a French bulldog abandoned in a parking lot at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center after a Brooklyn home invasion. Armed robbers stole the 2-year-old dog, Coco Chanel, and other valuables, including $8,000 in Pokémon cards. Tiffany Latz brought the frigid dog into the hospital, then Amy O'Sullivan picked it up. A hospital staffer recognized the dog and connected the nurses with the owners. The owners reunited with Coco at the nurses' home on Feb. 9. O'Sullivan cared for Coco, feeding tuna and oatmeal when the dog would not eat kibble.
