Rory McIlroy, despite being a top driver and a Masters champion, missed the opportunity to add a seventh Major title in the US PGA at Aronimink. His lack of accuracy off the tee cost him that chance. McIlroy raised eyebrows when he arrived in Philadelphia and said that strategy off the tee at the restored Donald Ross classic was “pretty nonexistent.”
