Redwood City invites everyone to enjoy its beloved outdoor movie tradition, Movies on the Square, which returns for the summer of 2025 starting June 5. Each Thursday, the Courthouse Square will host free double features that begin with kids' films at 6pm and independent shorts at 8pm, followed by classic and contemporary movies at 8:30pm. Notably, the Juneteenth celebration on June 19 will feature stories from Black independent filmmakers, culminating in a screening of 'Bob Marley: One Love.' Summer nights promise unforgettable cinematic experiences in a communal setting.
Kick off the evening with family-friendly films at 6pm or independent shorts at 8pm, then stick around for a mix of renowned classics and newly released feature films at 8:30pm.
Films are presented in high-definition with dynamic surround sound-and our stunning LED screen ensures great views from every angle.
