Slow Haste, a new coffee spot in Portland, is quickly gaining popularity for its high-quality coffees and relaxing vibes. Operated by a team of four founders from Portland's café scene, it serves as a daytime counterpart to the cocktail bar Collector. The inviting environment features abundant natural light, hanging plants, and unique decor. Partnering with Sunday Coffee Project for unique roasts, Slow Haste emphasizes community interaction. Co-founder Troy Arias articulates the importance of creating a welcoming space that fosters social connections while avoiding sterile aesthetics.
It's really challenging to strike that balance between making it feel homey without making it feel a little too dusty. We want it to feel like people come in there and live there.
Everything we've had from Sunday Coffee Project has been phenomenal. It felt like good timing to support someone that's getting started in the industry and is supporting us as we get started.
