This Portland Vogue Femme Class Will Shred Your Calves and School You in Ballroom History
Briefly

Latroy Robinson, a senior research assistant at OHSU, also performs in the ballroom scene under the name TwoMoods. Balancing his job and passion for dance, he teaches the Vogue Femme class, which emphasizes core elements of vogueing. His journey began as a student in the class, taught by Legendary Father Papi Ada. After taking over the class, Robinson preserves its original structure while providing historical context about each movement, fostering a diverse group of students eager to learn and share in the art of dance.
"Each month, Robinson cycles through vogueing's core elements: catwalk, handwork, duckwalk, floor, and spins and dips. Class begins with Robinson relating a little history..."
"I get very left brain, right brain satisfaction from it," says Robinson. This highlights how he balances both his scientific career and artistic passions seamlessly.
