Air Serbia experienced a cyberattack that forced the airline to postpone the distribution of payslips to its staff. Internal communications indicated that while monthly salaries were paid, access to payslip PDFs was blocked. HR warned employees against opening suspicious emails related to payslips. The IT department had informed staff of the cyberattack on July 4, prompting security measures including password resets and restricting internet access. Plans were made for business continuity in light of potential operational disruptions caused by the attack.
Given the current situation and the ongoing cyberattacks, for security reasons, we will postpone the distribution of the June 2025 payslips.
Our company is currently facing cyberattacks, which may lead to temporary disruptions in business processes.
We kindly ask all managers to promptly create a work plan adapted to the changed circumstances, in accordance with the Business Continuity Plan.
The IT team began emailing staff warning them that it was facing a cyberattack on July 4.
