A whistleblower, Daniel Berulis, has raised alarms over cybersecurity breaches linked to DOGE's access to the National Labor Relations Board systems. His disclosures highlight unauthorized data exfiltration and near-real-time access by users seemingly based in Russia. Moreover, Berulis reported receiving a threatening note related to his whistleblower actions. The urgency of his claims led Whistleblower Aid to notify law enforcement about the threats and the serious implications of compromised government data security, indicating a substantial risk to national security.
Mr. Berulis is coming forward today because of his concern that recent activity by members of the Department of Government Efficiency ('DOGE') have resulted in a significant cybersecurity breach that likely has and continues to expose our government to foreign intelligence and our nation's adversaries.
Notably, within minutes of DOGE personnel creating user accounts in NLRB systems, on multiple occasions someone or something within Russia attempted to login using all of the valid credentials (e.g. Usernames/Passwords).
