A survey of over 16,000 people across 16 countries revealed that more than 70% believe at least one unproven health claim. Claims included the belief that paracetamol during pregnancy causes autism and that the risks of childhood vaccinations outweigh their benefits. Between 25% and 32% of respondents supported these claims, while 17-39% were uncertain. The findings suggest a significant and increasing number of individuals questioning established scientific evidence, as noted by experts in the field.
