Carlos Queiroz has been named Ghana's head coach ahead of the World Cup, taking over from Otto Addo, who was dismissed after poor performances. The Black Stars failed to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and are in a challenging World Cup group with England. Queiroz, with extensive coaching experience including stints with Portugal and Iran, expressed his commitment to Ghana's footballing future. Ghana's first match is against Panama on June 17, followed by games against England and Croatia.
