Gianne moved from the Midwest to Seattle three years ago with a partner and relocated from a tiny apartment to a larger craftsman rental suited for creative work. The home is a 100-year-old house with white walls, character, and a spiral staircase leading to a lofted studio that inspired paintings, sculptures, and hosting. The landlord inherited the house from a grandmother and sought a tenant who would cherish it. After a relationship ended, Gianne remained in the rental, continued making art, and designed the home to reflect her artistic intentions.
"From the moment I stepped inside, I felt a deep knowing that this was exactly the home I needed to continue pursuing my art and healing. That feeling solidified when I walked up the spiral staircase and saw the lofted studio. I could picture all the paintings I would create, the sculptures I could sculpt, the dinners I would host, and the growth that would unfold here. You could say it was love at first sight!"
"Our first apartment in Seattle was a sweet shoebox that served its purpose, but over time, it became clear we needed a larger space for our creative endeavors. He was a drummer, and I am an abstract painter and sculptor,"
"to find a tenant who would love it as much as she did. I love this place more than I could ever put into words. My grand way of showing it is through designing it with my heart and soul!"
