"We'd like to hear from both single people and members of couples who very recently met the love of their life on a date. What is the best and worst date you've been on? Any funny or shocking anecdotes to share? How do relationships compare to the ones you had at a younger age? How much does companionship or sex factor? What about exes your's and your partners' children and grandchildren?"

People aged 60 and over are invited to describe recent dating experiences, whether single or partnered. Respondents are asked about best and worst dates, funny or shocking anecdotes, comparisons with younger relationships, and the roles of companionship and sex. The invitation asks about exes, partners' children and grandchildren, use of apps or word of mouth, number of dates, and experiences of ghosting. Contributions can be anonymous; the form is encrypted and only the Guardian has access. Data will be used solely for the feature and personal data will be deleted when no longer required. SecureDrop is offered for true anonymity, and help, terms, and privacy links are provided.
