After relocating to a condo in Annapolis, we anticipated easy engagement with neighbors. Instead, the silence in the building was striking and unexpected. Previous experiences in Florida had involved friendly introductions and a strong sense of community, but these were lacking in our new home. Conversations with residents have been brief and uninviting, leaving us feeling isolated. Despite being thrilled with our new residence's features and location, the lack of social interaction has been disheartening.
Upon moving to Annapolis, we were excited about the potential to meet new neighbors in our condo complex. However, we quickly discovered that the residents were not sociable and rarely interacted.
Despite choosing a condo in a large complex believing it would foster community, the reality has been days of silence and minimal engagement with neighbors, leaving us feeling isolated.
