Ben Shapiro said the American right has a conspiracy problem that routinely culminates in antisemitism. He described antisemitism as the “ur-conspiracy theory.” He cited Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) as an example, saying Massie likely would have survived a GOP primary if he had not challenged President Donald Trump and criticized him over Jeffrey Epstein-related file releases. Shapiro linked Massie’s defeat to Massie’s repeated Israel-focused criticism, including remarks in his concession speech and comments about the Trump administration fighting a war for Israel. Shapiro also addressed layoffs at The Daily Wire, which he co-founded in 2015.
