He described public celebration of sinful behavior as something that would not have been discussed decades earlier. He framed the current struggle as resisting sins that weaken the foundations of the republic. He quoted 2 Timothy 3:1-5 about “last days” characterized by self-love, arrogance, abuse, ungratefulness, unholiness, and lack of self-control. He attributed moral decline to the removal of the Bible from public schools and urged Americans to repent and seek salvation through Jesus Christ.
