Harry Styles Logs Elite Marathon Time Under Elite Fake Name
Harry Styles ran the Berlin Marathon on Sunday and finished in 2:59:13. He registered under the pseudonym "Sted Sarandos." He competed among 55,000 runners and placed 524th in the over-30 division and 2,241st overall. He ran even halves of 1:29:08 and 1:30:06. The time is a personal best after a 3:24:07 finish at the Tokyo Marathon in March. Fan-shot footage captured his run. He tried to keep a low profile while attending Pope Leo XIV's conclave election in May but was spotted in a viral fan photo. Harry's House was released in 2022.
"On Sunday, he finished the Berlin Marathon in 2:59:13, and under a fake name, to boot. As first reported by the German newspaper Tagesspiegel, the 31-year-old singer used the pseudonym "Sted Sarandos" to compete among a field of 55,000 runners, finishing 524th in the over-30 age group and 2,241st overall. With an even split of 1:29:08 in the first half and 1:30:06 in the second, Styles ran a well-paced race."
"Harry Styles once sang about running from his emotions on "Sign of the Times," something that may be fueling his surprisingly elite times at recent long-distance races. This coveted sub-three-hour time was a personal best for the pop superstar, after he completed the Tokyo Marathon in 3:24:07 this past March. Check out fan-shot footage of Styles running the Berlin Marathon below."
