"I thought I wouldn't make it and didn't have the strength. I thought I'd lie among the trees and that would be it."
"UGVs are a staple piece of equipment on the Ukrainian front lines, used to ferry supplies like food and ammo to troops, as well as evacuating wounded personnel away from harm."
A remote-guided robot rescued Antonina Horuzha, a 77-year-old woman, from the war-torn village of Lyman in Ukraine. The robot, operated by Ukraine's 3rd Army Corps, approached her with a message reading 'grandma, sit down' to reassure her. Lyman had been devastated by Russian troops, making life unbearable for Horuzha, who had lived there for 53 years. Unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) are commonly used in the conflict for transporting supplies and evacuating personnel, with drones playing a significant role in these operations.
