Tricia Cooke has confirmed a third and final film in her lesbian b-movie trilogy, titled Go Beavers. This film follows a crew team reunion where members begin dying off. Unlike typical horror, the inspiration draws from the 1971 film Walkabout, aiming for a more psychedelic and deeper narrative. The second film, Honey, Don't!, featuring Aubrey Plaza and Chris Evans, is set to premiere soon, while Margaret Qualley expects to be a part of the final instalment.
Cooke confirmed that round three is called Go Beavers - and that it's in early development. The film is about a crew team who gets together for their reunion.
It won’t be a horror, she added, citing 1971 Australian survival film Walkabout as inspiration: 'That film is whoa, psychedelic. What is life? It has a little more depth.'
